This website does not track you. No analytics, no advertising, no profiling, nothing loaded from other companies.
Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described here is Disposed Studio (disposed.studio), based in Belgium. Contact: info@disposed.studio.
What happens when you visit
Like every web server, ours keeps a technical log of each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. Our hosting provider's firewall reads the same data to block attacks and automated traffic. We use it only to keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): a site that can be attacked unnoticed puts everyone's data at risk. The log is kept by our hosting provider for the period the law and its service terms require, then deleted. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.
Fonts, images and scripts all come from our own server. The Instagram link, if present, takes you to Instagram only when you click it.
Cookies
We set no cookies for analytics or advertising. Only two technical cookies can appear, both strictly necessary and therefore set without consent:
- starter: keeps the studio logged in to the editing panel. It is never set for the public and is deleted when the browser closes.
- fireshield: set by our hosting provider's firewall only when it needs to check that a request comes from a person and not a bot. It is deleted when the browser closes.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and what you write to answer you and, if it comes to that, to prepare and carry out a project together (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Writing to us is up to you; without an address we simply cannot reply. We keep the correspondence as long as needed for that and for our legal obligations, then delete it.
Login security
To stop password guessing on the editing panel, the site records failed login attempts under a keyed hash of the IP address, never the address itself. After an hour the record is no longer used and is then cleared automatically (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who else handles the data
Our hosting and email provider, Ergonet S.r.l. (Viterbo, Italy), processes the data on our behalf as processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The data stays in the European Union: nothing is transferred outside it. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, and no decision about you is taken by automated means.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format: write to info@disposed.studio. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
